Family picture here The HOBSON family can be traced back to the tiny village of Histon in Cambridgeshire in the 16th Century.I have recorded 11 generations on these pages.

They were mainly farmers with a great deal of land which has been passed down through the generations from father to son.

It has always been said that this family is related to the famous Thomas HOBSON of HOBSON'S CHOICE fame. They came from the same place..the dates are right..the name is a family name..but I cannot make the link. It is highly possible that he was a cousin..there is no proof.
